Community Relations

Community Relationships are important. Strong relationships of mutual trust between law enforcement and the communities they serve are critical to maintaining public safety and effective policing.

• Often we rely on the cooperation of community members to provide information about crime in their neighborhoods, and to work with local law enforcement to devise solutions to crime and disorder problems.

Interacting with and supporting our citizens is an important part of how we serve our community. Working together with partners, hosting events, and creating opportunities for those important conversations help us to better serve and for citizens to understand the role of law enforcement in the community.
